I'm sure we all have been through something and think I can't continue the cycle because it's unfair. What we have went through as children why should our children go through the same thing. I feel it's being selfish. You just want to do what ever you want without thinking that it will effect your child. Everything my parents were to me I inspire to be nothing like them. It's unfair to my child to go through the same thing I did especially when I should be protecting them from that.
As your children get older they will ask you this question, so be prepared to explain and for your child to lose respect for you. I know that children are blessings but at the same time some people are not meant to be parents. I think there are two type of parents. The ones that carry the baby into this world and that's it. There job is done after that. And the ones that nurture the baby. It's more than bringing the child into this world, paying for school, putting clothes on ones back, providing shelter etc.
To be honest, I wish that there is a way to reject someone from being a parent. Maybe when someone is going to have sex and the guy is ready to go in a loud obnoxious sound goes off saying REJECT REJECT REJECT ! This person is not suitable to be a parent please find someone else. Or the guys manhood starts burning really bad and when he pulls out on his penis will say you don't want to do this......lol. Somehow this might work. And we wouldn't have sooooooo many parents that can't do a great job.
What makes me extremely upset is when there are people that can't have children that can be great parents while the people that are the worse parents can have children like it's nothing. How unfair is that ? The way the world works is dysfunctional.
