A young woman was shot a couple days ago for refusing to give her number to a guy. She was leaving a party with her cousins and the perpetrator said he was going to shoot them if she didn't give her number to him. He started shooting and one of the bullets hit the young woman. I have heard strange things that guys have done to women that haven't given their number to them but not to this extreme.
I get scared every time I turn down a guy because of things like this. One time I had garbage thrown at me that wasn't pleasant but to actually shoot someone over not getting their number....very petty. As women we have to start protecting ourselves maybe mace, pepper spray, stun gun, and self defense classes. I know mace, pepper spray and stun guns are illegal in some states but at least you have the option of fighting to live, it just might save your life. We can't even give out fake numbers anymore because the guy would make you stand there while he calls the number to make sure it's right.....damn can't you use that trick anymore. I have done that for majority of my life with the intentions of never seeing the person again. But I have seen the guys months/ years later and they didn't recognize me...thank god. What are we suppose to do ?
