Santo- Daime Holy Drug
Hey Meanies,
In Brazil, Fortaleza there is a religion called Santo-Daime. In this religion Santo-Daime followers use DMT (Dimethyltryptamine) which is a
hallucinogenic. DMT is illegal in Brazil but permitted in Fortaleza for religion purposes. Daime comes from Ayahuasca plant that's made into tea. Side effects are psychosis, flashbacks, and suicide. Supposedly it contains psychoactive compounds. Ages 5 months- up drink Daime at service every day.
Followers drink to seek enlightenment to God. They believe that Daime is the blood of Christ. Their higher power is Saint John and on his birthday they will drink, worship, and hallucinate til dawn. In 2009 U.S legalized Daime for only the Santo-Daime followers.
